Modern factory built prefab homes are a great alternative to costly new construction. Our customized and flexible floor plans offer the same level of quality and building materials used in traditional site built homes.

The term “Manufactured” comes from the factory in which they're built: these homes are assembled on an assembly line similar to other manufactured products. By prefabricating major components climate controlled factory, much of the on-site construction complication is removed and homes can be built cheaper and more consistently every time. The finished home modules are then transported to your prepared site, whether that is a Mobile Home Park, a backyard cottage, a casita or acreage in the country.

One little known fact about Manufactured or Modular homes is that while the State of Washington has many laws such as the need for permits etc, local governments (city or county) cannot pass any laws that make factory built housing more restrictive than site built housing. Call Heritage and we can fully explain what this means but the bottom line is: you can put a manufactured home on private land anywhere in Washington State.

Many of our Manufactured Home customers comment on how quickly they can move into their new homes. Modular homes can take a little longer than Manufactured due to site construction and inspection requirements, but still months faster than a traditional site built home since all the construction is done in a factory.
